Random Commanders Thoughts

Portis was soooooo painfully bad last night. I felt bad for him - I just don't see him making it as a mainstream media guy. He's better suited to radio where it's easier to be who you are....

No. It's only you :)

Anyone who thinks Griffin sucks should have seen Mariota play tonight.

Those flashy objects aren't as good as you think.

Did any of the udfa's & late rounders make a case to stay last night?

Just saw a headline that the vaGiants lost 4 to injury in their secondary. Wish we were playing them week 1 ;)

Judging any player by preseason performance is probably flawed to begin with.
That's where you're dead wrong Bucko!

Babe Laufenburg, the greatest quarterback what ever lived, was denied his place upon the altar of legend, simply because he was named after a pig.

Gibbs was an idiot! Fans knew better. But did Joe listen? Nooooooooooooooo.

We would have won 6-7 straight Super Bowls with the Babe.

Kyshoen Jarrett made a couple good plays, and Dunbar (the kid to switched from WR) made an all pro pass defense. Left arm in position but not interfering with, used his right hand to swat the ball away over the middle.

Rashad Ross certainly stood out in that game. I'm not sure there's room on the roster for both him and Grant, but I sure hope there is.

That settles it, Dunbar is my crush to make the team as a CB or safety. Wherever the hell he's been lining up.

Didn't Ross stand out in last preseason too ?
Seems like he's just a body with little chance to make it, much like that old Babe Laufenberg

Maybe. We're pretty stacked at that position so he might be screwed.

Watching the game a second time, 94 also jumped off the screen.

He was absolutely dominant. That guy was all over the field. Thank you McLovin.

Yes, he did.
And that was against the 1st team offense, which was even more meaningful.

So, is Junior gonna play his spot on passing downs, or how/where will he fit in ?

Eff it...Spencer Long can be the TE in short yardage sets. Rest of the time we go 4 wr'sbwith Almo or Jones in the backfield.
