I have a hard time believing they would try to be so tight-lipped about this for about 2 years and then allow people to find evidence of the new name/logo in one of those videos. It screams misdirection and smokescreen to me. On the other hand, if they didn't want stuff to leak and it was an oversight on the part of the organization, Lord help us all.

But to this point, under Rivera and the new FO, there is very little info coming out of Ashburn that they dont WANT to come out. The leaks have been fixed. It was probably Bruce the whole time, but we used to be a massively leaky faucet. From the Draft to FA, they have plans in place, and that info is withheld.

and it's very possible that the new name is one that hasn't even been spoken about (ahem... something 'hogs' related.... hence the Groundhog Day announcement). EVERYTHING is about trying to figure it out and it's going to be trending on twitter for the next however many days..

Pure obfuscating BS about discarding RedWolves as an option.
There's no way they could not come up with a TM and branding with that name, and it's indigenous to this region.
Great way to listen to and appreciate a long-suffering, frustrated and extremely loyal fan base.
BTW, and for the record, I have Native American heritage and never objected to Redskins.
I'm a Baltimore who has been ardent fan since childhood in the 1940's.
