(where's Ax and his dead horses now? j/k j/k) and I"m over it.
Hey Brother, you ever tried to get somewhere in a hurry riding dead horses?
I have agreed that making the switch, when we did it, was a mistake of monumental proportions.
(Yes, I hyperbole much) Most likely in one of the first threads concerning the move. You know, 12,694 threads ago. I have agreed with many of the opinions shared by Brother Ryman about the timing, and shortcomings of the move.
However, unlike Brother Ryman, I don't choose to be a One Trick Pony, by beating that Dead Horse. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, etc...
But then again, there is something comforting about his consistency on the matter. He's predictable.
I'm also able to find comfort in the fact that, since the 3-4 is here to stay, for the foreseeable future, we now have a bunch of guys with a year of it under their belt. More guys that are better suited for it. And even more guys that will be learning their first and only defense in the pros.
From lemons, cometh lemonade. Not koolaid, Brother Ryman.
Lemonade.
BTW, if coaching decisions of brilliance are so readily available to you, and their ultimate goals so easily attainable, then "the most boneheaded move in modern coaching history" is your epic failure of not being the winningest head coach in pro football history.
Slacker.
