Have to say, that was one of the worst defensive series you could imagine. Get them in 3rd & long; hit a deep ball. second and 13, give up 15 yards. Miss a lot of tackles (again) and give up a TD. Washington's offense getting zero help. No excuses for how bad the D has looked.

This is the defense I feared would rear its ugly head. Making a struggling Penix look elite and Bijan look like Gale Sayers. While I felt last years team could make the playoffs and make some noise, I feel like this team could make the playoffs but it’s going to be a lot of ups and downs this season. Next year we will start being contenders. Just still too many holes on this team to fix in an offseason.

Sometimes coaches are stubborn and injuries lead to opportunities which lead to breakouts.

Hopefully we see some Sinnott leaking out down the seam as well because Mariota needs to attack the middle of the field if we want room for the running game

Breakout game for Luke? Some fans treat him like he’s a first round bust. Reality is for being the 100th pick in the draft, he’s been fine and has a chance to emerge

No turn overs no INTS no Fumble recoveries, very very poor coverage , multiple missed tackles, zero pressure. They have played against 3 very bad offenses and still last in the league.....
