Our defense is the reason we will not make the Super Bowl this year. Pathetic.

Plenty of blame to go around, the offense isn’t great either despite some flashes in the run game so far. This isn’t a SB roster yet and Daniels hasn’t even looked good yet this season.

Rivera was big time hands off. And I know Quinn emphasized hes not going to be a part time coordinator. So i think in both cases the head coaches arent really from what I’ve gathered involved at all in play calling and game planning

That was serious horrible awareness by Mariota and Quinn. WHY CALL A TIMEOUT? We were not going to get a first down.

Though it is cute how many times Dan Quinn says ball is life as one of the team credos. It looks a bit comical. I’d stopping saying it until they can actually create one

To be fair we really don’t turn the ball over on offense which is the other half of the turnover battle. The defense has been terrible (especially in regards to turnovers) which is certainly embarrassing when that’s what you’re preaching. But you can’t exactly stop preaching it and I guarantee you they practice it, so…the problem may be play calling and getting the players into position, as we’ve witnessed player execution is definitely a problem. So likely at least partially a coaching issue for sure, which will be on Quinn to fix.

But in the meantime they aren’t going to tone down how important they SAY winning the turnover battle is, even though it’s empty.
