You seem to be over-reaching. By a very long country mile.
No one left ES, the site left us. And I was a member here about a decade ago under a different handle, went back to my ES name when they abandoned us...(by the way, if you were such an "ES person", why don't I recognize you?)

They have a new site, btw. Thought I'd let you know since you're so upset.

Agreed with the other posters on the perceived ES slight, Canfan. I believe Burg was just lamenting the over used and, quite honestly, annoying use of the term "paloffs". And if I'm truly being honest as a former ES member, I understood why it was used but got aggravated with its use as well.

Otherwise, Burg was around on ES quite a bit himself. So I doubt he was downing ES at all.

Yeah, I was a mainstay on ES from 2001 to 2023. I don't think I'd be the best candidate for hatorade standard bearer. Plus seriously, hate has never been my style.

Lol. Pittman4two was actually pretty funny. And you could always expect one of his patented thread whenever we played TB. But yeah, I didn't engage with the fella as he seemed to garner way more attention than I cared to give. Lol.

Disclaimer: As some as my fellow ESers can attest, I typically lurked and read but had a propensity to post when I decided the time was appropriate...or perhaps to some inappropriate. 🤣

I wish the new fan forum well, but BGO is home now. Home is where the family is, and KDawg, Voice of Reason, MartinC, and other familiar names are family to me. Now if only we could find Califan.

Agreed, Nicky. Remember you, Mary, Kdawg, and others well. Speaking of which, I remember 88 well, and we'll just say that he annoyed me constantly with his "predictions of firings". To say the soothsayer and I had some words would be an understatement. 🤣🤣

I'm good with this place and have been relieved to see fellow ESers here. Feels comfortable and as you stated, home.

He probably didn't want his presence taken for granite .
I wouldn't be surprised he predicted Daniels would get picked off twice, and would end up throwing for 150 yards, and three interceptions.
