Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

There is nothing left to say. This team plays undisciplined and is always chasing a defender or not where they are supposed to be when on offense. It’s a cluster. Quinn was not a good hire because of the coordinators he brought in and stood by and let this crap happen. Waited forever to fire our kicker. I’ve lost respect for him.

agreed. saving JD for the next 4 games means nothing in terms of him possibly getting injured next season. y'all need to get over that sort of superstition. even if he does poorly, get tape. if he's the football guy we think he is, then it gives him material to study.
Exactly. We need tape across the board.
Kliff. JD. DQ. As long as they are here, they need to prove themselves.

Is it just me, or was Jayden's body language awful at the end of this one? I'm not a mind-reader, but it looked like a 'why in God's name did this team draft me?' kind of a look

Vrabel would never have worked for Kraft if he thought Mayo was being set up like that. Absolutely not, that’s actually the one thing you can be sure DIDN’T happen, not to mention how it could have set back Maye. Vrabel could’ve just been hired originally when Mayo was, if that job was destined to be his. Crazy post
No, not really. Kraft had made it known Mayo was the coach in waiting. We are talking about the NFL here. You act like Kraft is some saint lol.

It should have been, "why am I so brittle?" or "what did I ever do to Kliff to piss him off like this?"

Think the whole team is struggling to find answers and then to see Ertz get hauled off like that. Just a terrible, terrible season. No way around it. Everyone is responsible.

No. This is what you said, direct quote:

“I knew we were in trouble when the whole team was celebrating the moral victory when we dropped our 7th straight game last week.“

Which is not remotely what happened. People corrected you at the time, then after the game you once again try to reframe it and smugly act like people who disagreed were wrong.

You just said something dumb, it’s fine. You don’t need to salvage it. The rest of what you’re saying now is mostly correct.

I quoted a tweet saying something similar to what I said and exactly what I meant. You are quibbling over semantics and refusing to acknowledge my clarification. I don’t know why. Here’s the conversation in question with the context you are ignoring:

Faithful Fan: I knew we were in trouble when the whole team was celebrating the moral victory when we dropped our 7th straight game last week.

Conn: Nobody celebrated that, what are you talking about. Locker room was like a funeral while Quinn gave his post-game speech.

Fans treated it like a moral victory, which has nothing to do with the team

Faithful Fan: Okay maybe not celebrating, but DQ did say they “recaptured that competitive dog” and “we’re not lost anymore,” and such. The message to the team from coaches, media, and fans was “good job.”

Faithful Fan: [Look JP Finlay said] what I said.

Conn: [That is not what you said]

I have to answer with a question. When Whitt was running the team, the D this team was broke and after a couple of close games after DQ took over, it seems like the entire team quit on DQ today. Seems that way to me, Boone.
