Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

Glass half full?

If I'm Harris or AP, I am maybe learning the value of what I have on my sidelines. I am maybe starting to think - my HC search wasn't the best.

We got stomped by the Seahawks- I was at that game and my take was we could have done better with better offensive playcalls. Yes there were injuries, but there were yards left on the field.

Macdonald is the HC of that team.

Fast forward to now:
Vikings get shutout by Seahawks last week.
Now shut us out.

First time since 1992 that's happened.

It was a disgusting big company slow committee driven process. A good quote I saw recently “Consensus is cosplay for avoiding accountability”

And the post I quoted also used the word “celebrate,” but why split hairs? My point is there are no moral victories, especially on a 7-game losing streak.

I have sworn off false hope until I see consistent and sustained success. I recommend the same for everybody making excuses for this crappy team.

No. This is what you said, direct quote:

“I knew we were in trouble when the whole team was celebrating the moral victory when we dropped our 7th straight game last week.“

Which is not remotely what happened. People corrected you at the time, then after the game you once again try to reframe it and smugly act like people who disagreed were wrong.

You just said something dumb, it’s fine. You don’t need to salvage it. The rest of what you’re saying now is mostly correct.

If JD healthy next week he needs to play...he needs the reps. He is not seeing the coverages or making the right reads.
agreed. saving JD for the next 4 games means nothing in terms of him possibly getting injured next season. y'all need to get over that sort of superstition. even if he does poorly, get tape. if he's the football guy we think he is, then it gives him material to study.

Vrabel was available when we made our decision to hire Quinn, genius.

That is something I'll never understand how and why Vrabel was on the market so long. He is obviously a good coach and was my preferred choice for the Commanders. Oh well.

My guess is Kraft told him to expect to be the Pats coach after a season. Don’t think anyone believed Mayo was the long term answer at NE. It’s the only reasonable excuse I can think of haha

Vrabel would never have worked for Kraft if he thought Mayo was being set up like that. Absolutely not, that’s actually the one thing you can be sure DIDN’T happen, not to mention how it could have set back Maye. Vrabel could’ve just been hired originally when Mayo was, if that job was destined to be his. Crazy post

They were both embarrassing and no he only games that we were embarrassed
