Official Game Thread - Week 13 - SNF - Broncos @ Commanders

It isn't about Nix. The NFL is never going to rectify a penalty mistake by review. They played through a joke of a season allowing challenges and failing every single one of them, then they went back to not even pretending.

Yeah, I still contend that the refs colluding to basically not reverse any of their own calls that season should have led to a mass firing and restructuring of the referee group. The fact that the swinging dick NFL billionaires on the competition committee who voted the penalty challenge process through didn’t feel personally offended by that BS shocked me. Most fragile people on earth didn’t mind a bunch of weekend warrior lawyers and dentists spitting in their faces in defiance?

It feels like Mariota is helping the idea of tanking with those odd go for broke throws when safer move the chain throws are there for the taking

Premiere return men A. Make the first guy miss and B. Hold on to the ball
You can't make that guy miss. There are certain punts no return man can avoid the hit on. It has to be blocked or they are tackled, that was one of them. He needs to have one step to even have a chance of making him miss, unless I missed it - that wasn't there.

DEN really crapped the bed tonight. They will still win, but they will have to sweat out this last 2 minutes and it will be a lot more stressful than what it should've been.

I loved Ertz for what he did for us last season, but I hope that after this game, they'll finally give another TE a shot on high pressure downs. I'm sure they won't, but I wish that this would be the wakeup call that they need to find someone for life after Ertz.

Ertz is declining but still productive. He has had some plays tonight and this season. I like the guy.

I would like to see more of Sinnott though, really find out what we have there.

Haha, Mariota is Mariota. I think the film shows this throughout his career, but yes it works out this way regardless

Plenty of time, nowhere to go. Tough look for McLaurin on this grass

2 more bogus penalties. Maybe DEN can get 9 more 10 second run offs to end the game?

The officials are wrecking the flow of the game in the last two minutes with two bad calls. Horrible.

Well we’re getting jobbed, tank fans are happy. The want-to is there and this game was winnable. The loss will happen anyways

McLaurin got hit with a nice right cross, no flag.

I wanted the loss but will be happy with the win based on how badly the refs botched their calling of this game.

Kliff, I do not call WR Screen there. 31 seconds. 20-30 yard line. I am not sure if that is "I don't trust Mariota" there. Not sure. because taht is NOT Kliff.

Lot more than 2 minutes! OT.

Most embarrassing OT loss in NFL history:

Matt Hasselbeck declaring "We'll take the ball and we're gonna score!" at the coin flip, then proceeding to throw an immediate pick-6 to end the game.
