Official Game Thread - Week 12 - Commanders vs. Dallas @NW - GIDDY UP!

The problem is that Jayden's injury isn't going to heal - not completely - if he continues to play. So you either go with Mariota for the duration, or you live with putting the best young QB we've had on this roster in 30 years out there, knowing he is not 100%.

Yeah. It's not that hard a decision.

So did the Titans, the Raiders, the Falcons and the Eagles. He's had a total of 19 starts in the last 6 years. He's 7-12 in those starts. His stats over those 6 seasons:

60.7% completion rate
27 TDs
13 INTs
Sacked 57 times (3 sacks per game on avg)

Is that terrible?

No.

But you have to ask, does it equate to better than what even a 75% Jayden Daniels can do for you?

I don't personally think so.

BTW, none of what I posted says we can't win with MM. This is a different team and unique situation. MM had 2 winning seasons as a full time starter with the Titans. It's more about what his history is when thrust into the starter role - and what we know is he was pretty average. Doesn't mean he would be average here if called upon.

i think dallas is so bad we can win with him,and that,s bad.
 
Listening to Quinn’s presser- It doesn’t sound like Lattimore will play this week. He is ‘hoping to see him out on the practice field some towards the end of the week’.
 
Kind of annoyed that I will miss most of the Dallas game. I was set up to be part of an author series in January and my go starts at 2 on Sunday in Olney. Cheer extra loud. I will try to cheat as I can.
 
I will likely miss it live as well. Sometimes life requires things of us we would rather not give but have no choice.
 
i remember before one dallas week in the 70s,george brought katate man,jhune rhee in and damn near broke his hand smashing a board at redskin park. lol

Quinn basically said 5 isnt injured; that any issue we saw was more a lack of practice :laugh:

Not throwing a 50 yard hail mary to end the half on thursday night was all I needed to see to know he's not 100%. After just completing one.

Wrapping up the ribs between series's doesnt seem to be helping. I guess the days of pain pills and flack jackets is a thing of the past. If his passes end up at our WRs cleats again this week he probably shouldn't be playing.

No way he heals up with just a few extra days rest after the hits he took thursday night. I expect a lot more ground balls on Sunday. I fear that crappy ass week 14 bye is going to be a little too late but is what Quinn is trying to hold out for.
 
I wonder what the line would be with Mariotta starting. 👹
