This is the first time in a long time I can remember us coming off a mini-bye and our opponent coming off a short week. It always goes the other way around.

We better win or the " I told ya so's" are going to be coming at us from all angles from the early season skeptics.

This is going to be a very telling game and will define the rest of the season that's for sure.

I just hope they look like they're having fun out there again and not the team that has looked deflated the last couple weeks especially Thursday, really hoping that was a short week no bye yet thing.

I completely believe the last 2 games are becauae if fatigue and bumps and bruises rhat need time to heal. 10 days off will do wonders

If this team is really a playoff caliber squad, we go out and handle business against a team that is starting a poor backup QB, with a defense that is rated as one of the league's worst.

Obviously, division games are always a wildcard, but this is a game we better win with some kind of authority if we're going to make a playoff run.

All season long, this current team and staff have done the one thing that previous ones could not do. They have won the games they were supposed to win. Looking at the games we've lost - to the Bucs, the Ravens, the Steelers, and the Eagles - those were games coming into this season that the vast majority of experts (and fans) would've viewed as losses.

And we lost them, although with a little more luck, a little better officiating, and some tweaks to the gameplan we might have won a couple of those.

The Dallas game upcoming, as you said, is one we should win. We'll see if we continue doing what we should do.

Don't mind me I'm just terribly jaded from so many years of abuse.

Some day I'll have full faith again I'm just not quite there yet.

I think most of us still have doubts... how could we not? I'm not predicting anything... I'm just saying that so far in 2024, they've beaten teams they were supposed to. And I think Dallas falls into that category this year. I think ExoDus84 has it right. If we have any intention of being a playoff team and even possibly making some playoff noise, this is a big opportunity.

Washington should dominate this game from start to finish and win by 10 to 13 points, minimum. They will have had 10 days rest and time to game plan and should handle business. Really anything less would be a disappointment.

Plus quinn has more knowledge of the cowboys personel and play style than the cowboys do of ours.
They didn't have anywhere near the radical level of changes we did from last year to this year.

I’m in the camp of, this is all fun and awesome! We look like a real NFL franchise and football team, and I’m all in. But, let’s not forget, this was the second worst team in the league last season, with a rookie QB, and tons of new faces, let’s just enjoy the ride!

That said, this game is (as much I hate the cliche) a must win game. Cowgirls are in disarray. Parsons is back, and he’ll cause some problems, but the offense is anemic, and McCarthy has a less than zero percent chance of still being head coach after this season. Game is at home, and if these guys have designs on playing playoff football, they’ve gotta win.

We just can't have a third loss in a row. That's not something a winning organization allows. So this is a good measure of how far we've come: are we winners, or do we throw up our arms in despair?

Unlike the last 24 seasons, I believe these guys are winners. I'm so grateful we have new ownership, new coaches, new players, and finally some hope. Thank God!
