We handled the Lions pretty handily tooI’m watching the GB game with wifey. They look pretty good. Handling the Lions pretty handily so far.
I agree JD overthrew, but Terry seemed slow to me. They’ll get back in sync. And the one time he really got open, clearly there were some chemistry which wasn't there, because Daniels over threw him by 7 yards.
Thursday night games are most definitely the devils work. I absolutely despise Thursday night games, especially when we're on the road. Packers looking legit so far, and I doubt we'll have all the kinks worked out on offense. Im already preparing myself to hear the know it all pundits declaring the sophomore slump. The one positive i guess to playing on Thursday will be the couple extra days of rest and prep for week 3The NFL is week to week and Thursday Night games are notoriously sloppy. And the home team is like 4,395,492 - 2.
I expect the offense to be crisper, and get there quickly, but I don't know if I expect it by Thursday because Thursday Night Games are the devil's work.
We did and they aren't the same team that they were last year.We handled the Lions pretty handily too![]()
Green Bay is going to be really tough
Agree with this. I’d give Connerly a bit of a break being as he’s a rook and the Giants supposedly have one of the toughest D Lines in the league. They were going to test him as a potential weakness on our revamped line. This was always going to be a trial by fire for him, I don’t think he did too bad and should just get better from here..Payne's best game in a looooong time...hmmm, it this a contract year?
Giants OL is not good when Thomas is out.
JD's timing was off, and Conerly struggled at RT - hopefully those issues will resolve themselves in a game or two.
The money spent on Kinlaw doesn't look so bad now. Lattimore appears healthy. Deebo playing like vintage Deebo.
They look good today

And now they are a Ben Johnson less Lions. I think that is going to hurt them.We handled the Lions pretty handily too![]()
This is fair. On the other hand, last year, we couldn't stop anybody. So getting a defensive win feels good. The only thing I would caution is the Giants aren't a good OL or running team. So was it an unmovable object an force that didn't move? Who's to say.
The Giants should have kept Jones on the roster just for WAS games. He only played about 3 good games a year as a Giant, but 2 of those were always against WAS.Washington averaged 7 yards per rush in this game. So before anyone anoints great defenses let’s look at who is playing their assignments and how much discipline coaches get out of the Giants d-men on the field week to week.
The Giants are a team with some young talent, I am not sure going with Wilson at 36 was the way to go in a still rebuilding season after 3-14.
I am still smiling over Daniel Jones performance in Indy after my relatives who are all Giants fans thought Wilson was much better.
Well, not today at least![]()

Same thing for Drake Maye. Might want to hold off on that order of annoiting oil for those two.A lot of talk about Nix becoming something special this year. Looking very Meh so far today.
He is very meh and benefits from a top defense.A lot of talk about Nix becoming something special this year. Looking very Meh so far today.
