Sounds like Jalen Hurts is trending towards potentially playing tomorrow night.

Not that you should ever need added motivation to show up in an extremely important football game, but his potential availability should fire up our defense. All we heard since that Week 17 game was how Philly gifted us the game by removing Hurts. Our guys should be amped up to prove it with Hurts on the field for 4 quarters and put that nonsense to bed.
 
8.5 hours to kickoff and we still have no idea who the QB will be. 🤡

Guess that would take away form the home team having old crappy benches (which is the excuse Dallas used last week) for the visiting team in the cold weather.

Rick Snider reported that the team has until 4pm to add a player to the active roster but that the test has to be administered at the team’s facility.

Tim Settle has cleared Covid Protocols





As Chris said the team has til 4pm to ACTIVATE the player. That means they take a roster spot. The tricky thing is I don't know if they need to 'clear' protocols to be activated. I wonder if we could activate one of these guys in the hopes that they clear prior to game time... I don't know the exact parameters.

I've seen that 'travel arrangements are availalble'.... meaning there's a private jet on stand by... in the event that Allen or Heinicke clear. They're likely sitting at the facility awaiting results since they did not travel with the team. It's a 25 min flight from Dulles to Philly so it could come all the way down to the wire.


I imagine this jet doesnt take off til they are 100% that Heinicke and / or Allen are not going to be eligible.
 
Now official.... Heinicke and Allen WILL NOT PLAY. Garrett Gilbert is the starting QB

Not sure who the other two players are, but apparently Settle and 2 others are airborne headed to Philly


 
Looks like 1 of them is Sammis Reyes

 
If they somehow win this game with Gilbert as QB...it would be like beating Dallas with Tony Robinson fresh out of jail.
