Lemme tell you it was a rough existence to grow up in the heart of New England as the Patriots dominated the sport and Snyder dominated our nightmares. For about a decade I even considered it may be some form of rare, esoteric psychological abuse that my family had signed me up for! I’m sure many can relate.

Same story here, fortunately for me though I got to see the glory years when the patriots sucked so I had that to cling to.

I think people are misremembering how busy ES was. During the week day there was always talk, and the game day thread was nuts, but log on Saturday morning and make 3-4 posts and nobody else responded many times to any stadium thread for a few hours sometimes.

Also, most of the posters that I remember are already over here now.

Hail, I’ve been a fan since Vince Lombardi coached the team. Lurked on ES for decades but seldom posted. Glad I found my way here. I really hope Skins In Paradise (SIP) & Going Commando (Steve McQueen) find their way here.

Another long time ES lurker. Moved to Nashville 35 years ago and ES was my lifeline.
