Even if ES comes back, I think I'll stick around here. I don't like being an ass to people, but the incessant ban-threatening got really old!

But sad to say goodbye after ~18 years over there!

ES may come back - I have no idea. We judge no one on what they do if that happens just for the record. I might suggest the environment here is a little bit more user friendly, but hey, I'm biased. We also control our software and experience. We can do anything we want to and offer anything possible here because it’s OUR community - and we decide those things. It's kind of a beautiful thing.

I am with you brother. I generally got along fine over there. But constantly having to worry about slipping while hammered, an you all know me every Thursday night, was getting tiring.

Btw - our version of the 'Tailgate' is the '5 O'Clock Club'. One major difference. We don't do politics, religion, or other controversial topics here. We've tried multiple approaches to that over the years but just finally decided it wasn't worth the hard feelings those conversations created. Other than that, all topics welcomed. You will find 'moderation' here isn't something we even talk about. We pretty much self-police and that's the way it should be.

Gotta say I’m liking this place more and more and really happy I found it. In my close to 20 years over at ES I rarely entered the tailgate because those topics and was the main reason I had issues with staff. Nice to know there is a place to go and “hang out” free of that.
