Newbie here after the loss of ES

Hi all. As a member of ES for over 20 years I am saddened to see it go. It is nice to know there is somewhere else for us to get together going forward. I was a very active participant over there in the draft threads and gameday threads. Looking forward to speaking with all of you.

Welcome to the site! You may or may not know that the founders of this site were original ES owners and staff. We felt the place lost something after the team took it over, so we drifted away and started our own site. While we clashed with the staff who moved in after we left over the years, we were obviously all in on that community at one time.

We welcome all Redskins/Commanders fans. This is an awesome community.

I have stickied a 'User Guide' that covers a lot of the functionality here. And of course, you can just shout out in a thread if you need help at any point.

Btw - our version of the 'Tailgate' is the '5 O'Clock Club'. One major difference. We don't do politics, religion, or other controversial topics here. We've tried multiple approaches to that over the years but just finally decided it wasn't worth the hard feelings those conversations created. Other than that, all topics welcomed. You will find 'moderation' here isn't something we even talk about. We pretty much self-police and that's the way it should be.

Glad you found us too. There are a bunch of original ES guys here - I was 'Tarhog' in a former life. Everyone is welcome here - it is a super friendly community.
