Music Recommendation Thread

I just heard them for the first time the other day, and when I heard them again today I was like damn, that's a pretty cool song. It's not often you can hear a song with an accordion where the accordion makes the song

Proof that musical tastes are truuuuuly subjective and personal. You couldn't get me to listen to that entire clip with a loaded weapon :)

It's not just you, old men and ladies typically have problems listening to metal

Don't get me wrong, it's a terrible song no matter how it's performed. I just think this version is infinitely better than Billy Ray Cyrus Jr.'s version. I truly do listen to and enjoy all types of music. I have crazy weird tastes, but I never run out of stuff to listen to.

In honor of national egg cream day (I had to look it up to see that this idiocy is real after seeing it on fb) here is my favorite Cream song.

That one's getting a lot of airplay on XM radio - I like it a lot.

I freakin HATE and I mean HATE that song but this is pretty cool. I'd like to hear Ozzy or Marylin Manson do this.

I have lots of fresh music for me but almost none of it is new. I never listen to terrestrial radio so unless I hit a contemporary XM station i often get into songs years after they hit. I'm like you Nobody, I like a LOT of different things, from Widespread Panic to Eminem, to Black Keyes, to 21 Pilots to full on bang your head Metal.

For years, people have been baffled by my taste in music. Everyone says they like all sorts of music, but you don't meet many people who really like the whole broad range. I used to do karaoke a lot, and always confused and amazed the crowd at the same time, because any given night, I could kill it on rap, rock, and country songs all in one night. Good times.

I really miss the music of the mid to late 90s. In my opinion, that is the only period in history where music from every genre was at its peak. It was common to see someone's CD visor with all sorts of completely different types of music in it.

I saw these guys at a show Goldfinger was playing here before anyone had ever heard of them. We were all in the crowd scratching our heads at first, because we thought for a split second that the lead singer was Jeremy Piven
