Liquor, Beer, Wine & Cocktails.....What do you like & what are you drinking?

Love this beer.
That sounds awesome...will have to hunt that down.

I've got super magnification on my PC screen, I thought it was a pot of rice on the stove, lol

Early nightcap 🙃

The 10W40 beers are hard to find and only every so often. A bottle shop in town calls me anytime they get some.

Made by Hi-Wire Brewing in NC.

Thanks for the info. I've got a major booze warehouse near me, I'll call and check.

I reached for what I thought was an ESB from the same brewery and opened this before I realized it was the wrong one.😆

Joint Address pour...or....just an excuse to drink during the week😄

Johns Lane is one of my favorite Irish whisky’s.

Same. Irish whisky is a little sweet to me but, as the bottle fill will attest, I do like this one when the mood hits....

Always been a Dogfish fan. Been doing the 60 for years, upped my game to the 90 recently and really like that better. I asked about the 120, first one I ever had, and it's on backorder. At $36 for a 4 pack and there is a waiting list. Are those people crazy?

90 is my favorite, but I gotta tell you...the 120 is crazy good and I try to snag a couple 4-packs whenever I see it. It ages extremely well. It's amazing how much it evolves over time. I drink one immediately, then every 6 to 9 months thereafter. I believe it peaks at 2 years. Since I rarely drink beer, I don't mind dropping the $$. It should be released next month..

First time I tried Dogfish was the 120. Oddly enough it was at a get together of posters from my original Redskins message board to watch a game and someone brought 120. One guy came from France, I invited him to stay with us and I'd never met him. That was a big ask of my wife.

I LOVED the 120. But it has what I call the fudge brownie effect. Know how the first 1-2 fudge brownies tasted like the greatest thing you will ever eat? Then if you go 3-4 deep it loses it's magic and if you get to #5 you never want to eat a brownie again? That's how I felt when I finished the beer. Too rich for me at the time, like to try it now but not at $9 a bottle.

Yeah....it's definitely a sipping beer. I only drink one and I take my sweet time doing it. $9.00 a bottle is a good price.....I've seen it as high as $45.00 I don't mind paying because it lasts for a couple of years and that's coming from the cheapest bastard on this board!

Apparently you are now the 2nd cheapest bastard on this board because there is no fucking way I would pay that much for a beer.

Getting some of that Beam funk...

I was gifted a 375ml bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. With the exception of the rye, and (a couple of the Master's Series that I've tried), I'm not a fan of Woodford, or double-oaked whiskey.
That said the cigar seems to temper the sweetness and I'm enjoying this pour.
