You don't bench Cousins during Game Two if you want anything to happen this season.
If we think he's a QB worth keeping, you gotta let him work this out. We weren't going to the SB this season anyway. Let the season play out and see what kind of a QB he really is.
Not that I don't understand your point, but just how long do we wait for him to work it out? No, I didn't expect to be going to the super bowl this season, but I have a real problem waiting on a QB to warm up for 7 or 8 games that has more then a full season under his belt as a starter. We have two rookie QB's, and one under a new coaching staff no less that are playing above and beyond Kirk in our division. The Giants are going to beat us up and take our milk money this weekend if Kirk doesn't get his issues fixed. Not going to the super bowl, and being a laughing stock are very far apart. My point of benching him late in the 4th was as a wake up call, and a chance to salvage a win. Yes, play calling was less then desirable in the red zone, and it amplified the situation greatly. Lets see where game three leaves us....
