Granted, we are 4 games into this kid's career so temper things with that thought but...

I’m all in. I don’t know how we can see what we’re seeing and not believe it’s meaningful. We are all so gunshy given our past experiences, but we have a real GM, we have a pro front office, we have a legit coaching staff, and I don’t think there’s any real doubt we’ve found our QB finally.

There are reasons to be gun shy, but I always found cynicism in sports frustrating. We're supposed to be fanatics... fans. So why revel in the dreardom of pessimistic-worst-case-realism. We watch sports for community, escape, and though we haven't experienced enough of it... joy.

There are plenty of reasons to be irrationally exuberant. To think, Daniels is doing this with a questionable o-line, McLaurin, a washed up Ertz, Philly's sixth best discarded receiver, Houston's sixth best discarded receiver, and a wide receiver rookie who two years ago was a QB is just crazy. For all the bad kinds of crazy life throws at us, I'm relieved to experience a good kind of crazy.

Let's just see if he's still standing at the end of the season,ok?

So many Qb's over the years that seemed promising have went up in smoke in what seems like a blink of the eye. Just let the kid play without foisting lofty expectations on him after just four games.

Whether we foist or not has zero impact. He'll either be what he appears to be, or a mirage. I think he's the real deal. I've watched with guarded optimism long enough.

I fault no fan at this point for enjoying themselves and believing in everything they are seeing. We have earned that opportunity after living in hell for the past 30 years. What makes me personally believe in Daniels is the fact that he appears to have the mental processing skills and accuracy. Without those two facets of your game in place as an NFL QB, you don't stand a chance. While time will tell, these two tools make me feel like there is a justifiable reason to believe this time.

Personally - I know everyone’s totally in love with stats. I am too in my own way. But lots of things in life have an eye test. I think the joke about scotus defining porn as something where you know it when you see it, applies to performing at an elite level at the highest levels of competition.

That dude passes the eye test for franchise quarterback. He looks absolutely amazing back there. Super exiting to watch.

The difference I see between Daniels and just about all the other QBs is his accuracy. Hes so freaking accurate. Even if he had no mobility, he’d still be very good because he can see the field and is accurate.

That’s the kind of thing which doesn’t go away, typically. Even with age or injury.

The hope is he continues to develop into a top 5, consistent QB for years.

The thing I think I'm seeing which has me excited is the processing. He seems to understand where to go to find the open guy. I think he has the body/mind connection that great QBs need. We've seen QBs with amazing arms who constantly throw into crowds or hold onto the ball forever. Daniels already has that clock and seems to be able to see how the defense is unfolding in a way that gives a play a chance to succeed.

I agree with a lot of what is being said here. His accuracy is top notch. His decision making has been spectacular. If you look at how he played week 1 and how he played week 4, it's a huge difference. And I was very happy with how he played in week 1. But a switch was flipped during the game against Cincinnati. Not only did he start throwing the ball down the field more, but as a fan I was not worried when it was 3rd or 4th down. I knew they would convert. The same this past week. He's playing so well and yet still has a ton of room to grow. He will learn to be even more decisive and make even better plays when he learns that. But I really love the way he's playing and I believe the coaches have stressed not to put the ball in harms way.

I may be cocky but I don’t sit on pins and needles with him. When they started the drive on their own 7, I said out loud to my son “ok Jayden let’s go get 93 yards”

And that’s exactly what they did.

The concept of expecting to put points on the board every time you have the ball is so foreign to me. But I found it immediately with this guy.

His arm and accuracy allow him to drop back 10 yards cause he can sling it. It allows him to throw in tight windows others can’t. Even crazier - he can do it on the move. His eyes are always down field.

Kingsbury has an offense he can run or pass out of any formation. Daniels can check to anything out of any formation. Defense are going to play hell with that.

You can see the team is totally bought in. The locker room videos are nuts. People try harder when they know there’s a high chance for success. They care more when something’s actually on the line. He makes this team better because everyone knows the extra effort is worth it.

Leadership is just one of those things. Right now he’s got it.

And going forward free agents will want to come play with him.

I think Kliff is also to credit with some of this because he’s giving Daniels a lot of easy completions with good scheme and play calling.

The play calling and scheme are making it easier, but Daniels still has to do it.

So they both deserve credit.

I recall when Cooley said, in his days of weekly film breakdowns (no exaggeration he literally said this):
I can’t evaluate the offense because the quarterback play was so bad.

Daniels is making an offensive line that we thought needed one or two high round draft pick additions to not suck, look like a baller line.

One of them said in a locker room interview something about “keep his jersey grass free”

Idk man. It’s that leadership thing. Some people walk in the room and people are inspired to be better. He does that, and also plays well enough to actually make them better.

Heck yeah, I'm all in too. Ditto all the positive things people have said. Especially -- I just feel confident when he's out there. 3rd and 8 - no prob. Going to 4th downs -- my mind defaults to - "he'll pick it up." And the shots we see from the sidelines and in the locker room -- I've never seen Terry so happy. He knows he's finally got a baller at QB.

Daniels came into the NFL with 5 years in college and 50 starts. He’s 24 and more mature than a lot of the 21 year olds that came out in the draft.

You see that bio and his work ethic and then look at a guy like Trey Lance that had 13 starts and came out at 21 from a program that was not SEC quality.

It’s hard to know who is going to be a star but the odds are a guy with uber talent AND a lot of experience playing the position helps.

Thinking back, I remember a story on some sort of virtual reality training Daniels was using at LSU, and took the tech with him to DC. Haven't ever heard another word about it, but I remember Daniels pretty much raving how well it helped him. I have to wonder how much it's played a role in his success.
