Game Thread: Philadelphia Eagles

By the way Cooley was on the Monday morning qb show and said he got to look at the game plan for offense and there was plenty of read option in there. It wasn't called much and when it was griffin didn't keep the ball.

I just wonder if you all truly believe Griffin is 100%? I think last night is proof enough, he is not and should have been benched until at least the bye... Rusty? Yeah, I don't buy it! Fear is more like it. Big difference.

Clay Matthews next week, you don't think he's itching to get back at us after being injured against us a few years back?

I think he's 100% in terms of being healthy and not being at any more risk of injuring his knee than he was before.

I don't he was 100% in terms of being a high caliber QB ready to run the offense the way it should be run.

I agree there is some fear there, but I'll take that over what caused him to get injured in the first place; of course it could go too far that way, hopefully it won't.

I think there's a bigger issue with his mentality that's been hinted at before, but I'm not willing to put much weight on it after 1 game. As fansince62 said a few weeks ago - just something to keep an eye on.

Just made the mistake of listening to Cowherd talk about the transcendent football experience we all watched last night. Almost vomited in my car. He was gushing about Kelly revolutionizing offense in the NFL. Getting close to vomiting again just thinking about it.

I doubt that offense is going to be that scary after a few weeks. Bring some pressure, make tackles, knock Desean around at the line, that offense is made for turnovers and wont keep their defense off the field.

I will never understand why some of you are fans of this turd. He's the worst!

Just imagine his reaction if Luck or Wilson were the Eagles qb.

I think his knee is fine. I do question his mental and physical readiness (speed of the game, etc) going into last night. Those two aspects almost had to be less than ideal given the circumstances.

It would have done no good, however, not to play him. The only way those aspects improve is by playing in real games. Not by practicing with a yellow jersey on and watching the games from the sideline.

Cousins didnt have much playing time either...

and my thoughts are if your star is in there you let him play the entire game. he has to get his groove going in order for us to succeed.

Ya missed my point Mike. I wasn't saying we should have put Cousins in, I was saying we run a toned down O plan for Cousins and Rex, and that's the plan I saw last night.

Damn it. Can't turn on NFL Network, ESPN, ESPN Radio or anything without hearing about how awesome the Eagles are. I am going to enjoy watching them crash and burn. I'm going to take great, twisted pleasure in it, actually.
