Does this mean that he will still be on the Redskins books, or that now he is no longer under contract (or soon won't be), will he become a suspended free agent?

Will it be a repeat of the Tanard Jackson scenario? Did he ever play a game since we signed him?

He's a grown man who's been paid a king's ransom to play a game and he can't make basic responsible decisions. I have no sympathy for him.

I backed the talent longer than most around here.

But, to put it more crudely than you - he's a dumb arse. Now, the only sport is in betting whether or not his life is on a permanent downslide.
 
Even Plexiglass got a new contract after shooting himself and going to jail. Vick also. Fred will get another shot, as long as he doesn't self-destruct. The talent is there, the brain isn't.

He's suspended indefinitely.

He may never even get to ask for another contract, much less actually get one.

An appeal on the drug test may have reduced the suspension to a year. But now with a DUI arrest? Hah. Good luck.

I could be wrong, but Vick was suspended indefinitely also. He had to apply for reinstatement at the end of his jail term.

Maybe drugs is different than brutally murdering a bunch of dogs, I don't know.

That's true.

You're probably right, he will get a chance in some way, he's too gifted as an athlete.

I rest assured he'll make the least of it though. ;)
