Dan Snyder - Fugitive?

Reading that article it's like how you deal with an 8 year old who doesn't want to give up his toy but this 8 year old has power so you gotta use kid gloves.
Can you even imagine the disdain wed have for that man had he blown the deal up in the 11th hour.
My god there would be empty stands every Sunday and everybody would be at his house with cartons of eggs and toilet paper.
 
Interesting article. I admit to a fascination with the Danny, albeit a negatve one. I fail to understand how a man could repeatedly do the wrong thing. Memo to Premier League: Don't
 
Fortunately, between the pending lawsuits, the 'fine' the NFL imposed after the Mary Jo White findings came out (btw - did he ever PAY that?), and the Harris group actually meeting his 'I don't want to sell $6 billion price tag, and Tanya Snyders clear desire to move on from the whole thing, I don't think he had any choice in the end. But yeah, that sounds just like Snyder - a petulant spoiled child to the bitter end.

We have the whole offseason to make fun of the little Farquaad. Not sure why we want to keep bringing him up at this time though.
 
It would have been hilarious if harris showed up at his doorstep with 6 billion in cash.

That plus snyder wallowing in self pity makes this even better!
 
the only part of the article which I found interesting was what I think was the new information Snyder tried up until the last minute to sabotage the deal.

Which wasn’t going to work. If he had not relented, at that point, the NFL would have stepped in and just taken the team from him, some way, some how.

But that information was new.

The rest of the stuff was mostly hearsay, and pretty useless.

I really wish ESPN had just let dead dogs lie. There’s no point to brining up Snyder the day before the NFC championship game. I don’t care about him, I don’t think about him, I don’t care what he thinks, I don’t really want to be reminded of his existence.

It’s time we all move on. And that includes the media.

Nah, i let go of things dragging me down.

Snyders tears are wonderful and make me feel great.

Next year I'll forget about him but for now it adds context to how far we've come in such a short time and it's even more euphoric.

Maybe he does. I'm sure he's bitter. How could he not be? But I feel like if you are going to put that in a headline, you ought to have more than some gossip from an anonymous source. The biggest thing I gleaned from that article was Snyder trying desperately to get out of the sale in the waning hours. I don't think I had heard about those efforts to submarine the whole thing, and Joe Gibbs being the one to convince him to let it happen. That part doesn't surprise me as I think Gibbs is one of the few people Snyder ever remotely listened to.

This is actually a very level headed reasonable take.... however, I try to save level headed / rationality for my political discussions. When it comes to Danny Boy, get out the pitchforks!

There was a time when I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but my mother in law was an office worker in the early 2000s and worked with / adjacent to Danny Boy and confirmed to me that he was just a terrible person. Combine that with everything we all saw publicly, and I'm willing to hold a grudge. He doesn't regularly occupy my thoughts, but it's no chore to throw shade his way a few times a year.... for old times sake :)
