Confirmed Signings

Haynesworth is a POS, Bellichick will find that out over time.

Unlike Corey Dillon and Randy Moss who were troublesome at times but wanted to win, Haynesworth doesn't keep himself in shape and I don't think cares the least about winning.

Some tweets from Patriots insiders are saying Albert is not just out of shape - he is no where near football shape. Could it be that one was put over on old Bill? We'll see.

They just signed QB Mark Verica from UVA...but that's probably not who he meant.

I'm a Virginia homer and always proud to support my Cavs, but I'm here to tell ya, Verica is not pro football material. It would not surprise me if he is cut in less than a week.

Have to agree. Camp fodder all the way.

BB, I'm actually really worried that he may not pass the physical and the trade will be null/void. Or is the trade official now??

The trade is OFFICIAL. He is their problem child now.
:ciao:

Can't wait to read up on his antics. Honestly, I was surprised to hear he came to their camp looking like ****. I figured he'd try harder for a team like the Pats.

Well, I think he got out of shape with the idea that he was going to stick it to the Redskins and Coach Shanahan. Eh, that didn't work out so well and now it will be interesting to see how this story continues to unfold.

I know a 5th is nothing to get too excited about, and really, with all the draft picks the Pats have, their fifth was unlikely to make their team, but it does feel nice to steal something from the media-annointed genius.

Having said that, it costs them NOTHING (but the fifth) if they cut him tomorrow.

So really, jokes on Fat Al, I guess. And I'm fine with that too. If that lard-ass costs himself millions because of the Dunkin workouts he did this offseason, I'm cool with it.

Well, the story has just hit PFT. Let's see what the comments section will produce.

I must be a bad person in some ways - this is too funny and the enjoyment factor continues to increase.

No one at Redskins Park should laugh. They aren't even allowed a chuckle, or wry grin. Because had they not given away the bank for the guy, the Pats wouldn't even have the opportunity to maybe suffer a little.

On the other hand, I think it's funny as hell :)

Especially since they had a reported 4th on the table from the Titans last year and walked away. I mean, this front office didn't sign him so you can't blame them for the whole fiasco but you have to admit that while we got something, which is better than nothing, we still lost ground and paid to do it. That has to hurt a bit.

Via Adam Schefter twitter:
Eagles already are referring to themselves as "The Dream Team".

Keep talking and keep on with the self praise. There is a team down at South Beach that did the same thing. Seriously, just keep on talking.

The market for Jammal Brown is drying up and a return to the Redskins is becoming much more likely. A deal could be in place before the weekend ends.

Edited to add. Chester has been penciled in as the starter at RG and Artis Hicks will be the backup.

Peyton Manning re-signs with the Colts at 5 years and $90 million.

The lesson here? If you have a young son, get him to the best summer quarterback camps right away.

The Eagles clearly believe this is the year they finally fill that trophy case. If it weren't for Vick, I'd almost think they have a shot.

Yea, the Eagles are starting to really piss me off. They beat us out on N Devine and now Jenkins. Maybe we can just forefit them 2 games.

It must be nice just adding the icing. Too bad we're still baking the cake.:frown2:

What's the over/under number with Braylon Edwards being signed by the Eagles?
