Confirmed Signings

I don't mind the Gaffney/Jarmon trade. I just don't think Jarmon was ever going to find a home in the 3-4.

It's now official - DMc5 to Vikings for 6th next year and conditional 6th in 2013.

hehe tyvm, Lanky. I woulda said something about the linebackers... but Nitroused Beef on his rear sounded.... well.... like marriage in DC.

We got a steal in this trade and this FO continues to impress.

Uh...yeah. I like how we're working this FA-probing the big fish, pulling back when things get overheated moneywise, picking our spots, sealing bargains-no flash, no breaking the bank going after "Big Guns"-watching our step...

Nice change of approach, this.

Good point Serv. Now that Dallas has entered the Cullen Jenkins sweepstakes, we are watching this FO avoid over-paying. That being said, Jenkins will still end up here. The Cowboys would need to re-do more contracts to sign CJ.

I second that! Bring on the O-lineman!

You KNOW Vinny's gone when you chase after Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards and end up with Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney. It's like a shopper switching from Saks Fifth Avenue to Wal-Mart. :dizzy2:

are there any right now worth going after this early in FA?

well....we missed out on the b-more fella. gints rls'd some older guys as did the boys. we missed out on the 49er tackle. interesting that we haven't resigned Brown. will need to do some research...been very busy today just poppin in an out to leech off you guys' energy!!!

The fact that the Ravens haven't re-signed Yanda yet can only be a good sign of things going on in the background.

Jammal Brown is creating some interest out there. He still wants to return and the Redskins want him back. Ryan Harris option is still on the table.

No word on Dahl.

The Redskins under Shanahan have been reluctant to spend dollars on the OL outside of Trent Williams' rookie bonus.

We have ended up with others' hand me downs and it has had its ill effects on the ability to stabilize the offense.

I wish the local sports media in Philly would get it right. McNabb trade is done. Not done. Done. Not done. Ugh.

Didn't know about Yanda.

The Stokely thing is a head scratcher. Not sure why that move was made.

What do we have now, 14 WR's? Time to bring back Hunter the Punter and dust off the Swinging Gate. :doh1:

Sadly, I think we only have a couple CB's under contract. Time for a little paradigm shift there Mikey.

Experience is everything with this being such a short camp. I have no problem with any of these additions and look forward to what Coach is looking for and what these guys bring to the table. The lack of hitting and the cut back on the overall physical demand makes getting guys with experience a smart move.

Remember, they can bring 90 players this year so we may have signed a bunch of receivers but I don't think it's a bigger percentage of the total this year then we brought in last year.
