If Stallworth signed, so much for the "character" guy movement that seemed to be a theme during the draft.
Stallworth is a character guy outside of one terrible, terrible accident. But its not like before hitting the guy he was at the strip club shooting bouncers or anything.
Well, hopefully Stallworth is nothing more than a guy who will push the rookies and provide some competition in training camp and during the preseason. The fact that it's apparently a one year deal might suggest such.

Also, apparently the Jets are very serious about Nnamdi Asomasokdfalsjf - can you imagine that already stout defense with Revis on one side and Aso on the other? My goodness...they will set NFL records this year. They have to be the instant superbowl favorites if they can pull this off.

Can we actually do the trade today? I'm confused as to what day we can do what. I know yesterday you could set parameters for trade, but not finalized with league until later in week.

Holmes isn't worth $24M. I would not place him in the top 5 receivers in the game. But the Jets are close and feel they have to make these moves to try and maximize their window. So a guy like Holmes is there to cash in at the right time.
Clemens? My feeling here is that Kellen Clemens is here strictly to be another quarterback who can throw the ball in drills during camp and give the team a look see. I don't see him making the final roster unless Grossman is not resigned or there is an injury.
Of course we don't know if a deal for a qb is really in the works once McNabb departs.
Is Shanahan bluffing with all of the Beck talk?
In the past Shanahan has almost NEVER come out in the media months ahead of time to give everyone his game plan on ANY topic.

Another update...
Eagles cost themselves a better deal by delaying action on Kolb. Seattle was very interested, but they have signed other QBs. Cards are now the only team interested and that has made the difference.
No clue how the Cowboys are in this at the moment. They have announced cuts totaling some $16 million worth of players and are still reportedly over this years cap even before they sign a single member of their rookie class or resign the only legit starting LT on the roster from last year, Doug Free.
I think someone is using Jerry's name to bump the price just like they use Danny's name for it.
