IMO Darrell Green is the greatest defensive player in Redskins history. This was long overdue.

Having him shut down one half of the field meant Washington could win with guys like Barry Wilburn and Martin Mayhew at the other corner spot, who regularly got safety help.

That might be the dynamic of having Keim as the primary beat guy in Washington.

I think Mike Jones is a writer for NFL.com, but i don't know that he's an assigned beat guy like Keim is.
