I honestly had no idea his injury was this serious when he was traded for, so disappointed that he appears to be still hurt. This isn't college, in the NFL you have to treat every game as a possible loss.
As far as not practicing the NFL relies on keeping a schedule. They wanted to stay on schedule and being so beat up and going at it daily since July the best thing this team could do was tell their players to get treatment but pull away from football for a few days to recharge the batteries and get healthier. Coaches on the other hand never rest and they will utilize these additional days to their advantage.
