Did the team watch the games yesterday and discuss strategy? Will they be watching as a team tonight? How about practice today? Need to take advantage of the Extra prep time vs the enemy.

I haven't watched/read anything specific about the team schedule this week so my thoughts may already be out of step but here goes.

I'm guessing the coaches have made great use of the extra time in planning while the players were told to get some rest. If I were Quinn, I'd be looking to make this week a "normal" schedule for the players after giving them 3 days off.

I hope they use the extra time to get healthy. At this point of the season, with such a late bye, hoping they can take it a little easy this week.
Understood, this is a division game coming up and given the history, anything can happen, especially with a backup QB, we have seen it, at least some of us old timers have seen it but everybody saw the highlights.
There is an opportunity here, with a perceived soft part of the schedule, to get some wins, get healthier, maybe scheme a few new wrinkles to unleash on the better opponents, Crows and Falcons, although with what the Falcons did yesterday, I might change that statement.

You don't think that neutralizes our preparation advantage for the players?

Quinn said the offensive struggles the past few games were due to limited full-speed practice reps caused by Jayden’s injury. He said that Jayden is now improved to the level where they can have a regular week of practice including pre and post-practice work.

I don't know how much of Quinn's 'Jayden isn't hurt' statement is truth and how much is 'gamesmenship' but if it's the former, man that is great news because he's going to get a ton of time to practice and prepare for this one.

I want to see the JD we saw glimpses of earlier this season.

I'm hoping they use the extra time to refine a few more plays in the playbook that is not on tape. Experiment to see if we can find a couple more wrinkles that work. Make opponents expand their study. I kinds think *opponents* figured out the 1st half of the season. Plus get our RB's back to form. Will Marshon be well enough to practice/play/integrate into the D?

*We* have to find that 5th gear going forward

I’m starting to feel like they should sit JD till after the bye if he is as impacted by the injury as he appears. If he’s throwing turf burners like McNabb again this week it’s gonna be a very bad look for Quinn. Not being privy to what the team knows it’s hard to say, but his play fell off a cliff after the ribs and hasn't really rebounded.

Uhhh...I wouldn't doubt it DOH!

There’s also the fact that we clearly see on the TV feed, that they are treating those ribs by strapping him up every time he comes off the field… just precautionary?

I just think it’s been a rough combo of injury/rookie wall/fatigue/online injuries/short week/rested playoff calibre opponents. Now add in lack of practice as per DQ. That feels like a recipe for bad performance.

I agree with Boone. I hope they gave them some down time to rest up, re☺-energise and heal up as best they can. Then get into a full week of full practice before kicking some Cowboy butt.

As I watched in delight of another cowboys "shat the bead" incident in their own house... I secretly didnt want Jerry to "do something stupid" and fire people following their blowout to the Texans.
This move has upset the apple cart on other teams leading to a one-game rebound as their players are scared for their jobs and put out more effort. I dont want that, since we're that next team for them.

Let's watch what Jerrah does this week... but he was pissed that he could not win a game in that stadium... maybe he should fight Jake Paul then it's WIN WIN!

Remember 1-15? Any given Sunday

Don't take them lightly. Get them down early and step on their necks

But it IS a division game, and we know division games are just different. So yeah, we'd better show up and be ready.

I am really getting anxious to see Lattimore play and hope he is healthy by Sunday. I'm also getting anxiouis to see Johnny Newton have an impact. He had one good game, better than any game from Jon Allen in 2 years. But since then I have seen little from Newton.

Unless it is gamesmanship I wouldn’t expect Lattimore to play this week.
