not feeling good about that. need the wizards to come up with that mental toughness and get momentum back on their side...

he looks like someone who grew up playing basketball in japan and just moved over to the nba. seriously wtf is with his body movements.

Congrats wizards. You advance. No one gave you a shot to make the second round, and you went 4-1. Quite impressive.


And wake the hell up. You're lucky you won that game given how it ended. Either team should have lost by 10 playing like that.
 
They won a playoff game on the road to close out a series. A series they haven't won in decades. Proud of these boys. Hopefully they match up well against Atlanta
 
Round two is set to start Monday night for the wizards. Still waiting to find out if they play Atlanta or Indiana.

At this point, based on the way everyone is playing right now, it's irrelevant. The wizards are playing significantly better basketball than either of those two teams. In fact, at this point, the wizards are the only team in the east that could possibly even make a series against the heat worth wild. They're the only team in the east with two big men with skills that can stay on the court, and they have depth.

I cannot even wrap my head around the fact that I just said that...

Anyways, don't mistake that for being cocky - if the wizards make it to the East Conf Champ game my assumption is they'll be lucky to win 2 games out of the whole series. Which won't matter to me what-so-ever - they've already achieved more than anyone could have realistically thought they would this year.

In addition to that they just flat out play hard and are down right fun to watch and super easy to cheer for.
 
By the way... there's not a person alive that could have said, back in September, that before the wizards season was over Grunfeld would have secured his job for the foreseeable future, and that both GMGM and Oats would be canned at the same time.

I think most people thought Leonsis was going to have to fire someone, but I think most people would have put their money on Grunfeld being fired and GMGM/Oats keeping their spots...
 
Grunfeld hasn't been fired yet? LMAO. I figured this run was due to the new guy doing a much better job. LOL.

Guess we have many more obscure Europeans in the 2nd round to look forward too. :)

Atlanta going 0 for 7 in the 3rd from behind the arc isn't helping anyone. Both teams look like crap and hopefully do against the bullets too
 
Indiana had the best chance to get their s together and start playing, so in that sense it's not the best.

Bum yeah, both teams look like garbage. Hope our guys keep their heads in the game.
 
I don't disagree - but I think it's also fair to say, if things don't go well for the Pacers early, they also may the best team likely to fold/wilt under the pressure too. I like the Wizards chances.
 
I can't stand wise's writing style anymore than I can his speaking style.
