Okay, I have been thinking about this a lot lately. This would be my plan if I were going to bring in Peyton Manning. First, I would like to say that I am not sure whether I would do this or not. I would certainly say that I do not... I repeat do not think that this is actually going to happen. The day free agency is official you meet with Peyton Manning, you tell him we want you in DC. We will supply you with two more big time play-makers on offense, a better offensive line and we will implement some of your offense into our offense here in Washington. Then we sign Peyton Manning!!!! Right after that we come to terms with Vincent Jackson, who probably wouldn't sign with us without Peyton. He is play-maker #1 and Shanny has always liked Jackson. Maybe we pick up a lineman in free agency maybe we don't. A corner might be nice too but that has nothing to do with this discussion. Now, we get to the draft. First round pick is either Blackmon WR or maybe even RB Richardson, that would be play-maker #2. Second round pick RT, then you have a third and two forth round picks I would use two of those three picks on interior lineman. Now obviously, I am skipping thru the other picks but now we move to the 2012 season with. Peyton Manning, A solid O-line, Vincent Jackson, Hankerson, either Blackmon or Richardson and Helu. Not to mention Fred Davis could be back or Chris Cooley if he can stay healthy or even possible both. And last but not least a pretty stout defense overall.
I would like to reiterate that I am not saying this is going to happen or that I want it too, but assuming Peyton is healthy it is one option.
