Guilty as charged, El. I have Davis. Although in my defense, I didn't realize you were dismantling your team at the time. I thought you had dropped him to pick up someone else.

I get that you didn't want to play anymore and I get why. I just wish you had left your team intact, set your roster with your best players and let it ride the rest of the season. That would have been the sporting thing to do.

Yeah, I will say it up front. I quit for varying reasons. And while most of you may think it was the dynamic between Lanky and I, that is not entirely it. I lost interest. I lost interest for the very reason it had taken me so long to join a Fantasy league in the first place. It changed the way I watch football and I didn't like it. Couple that with the fact that Lanky decided to cut Lori out of the league taking over her team without consulting her when she and I were privately working out a deal for one of her players, not to mention our dynamic, and I was done.

I don't blame you one bit. Honestly, I thought you quit because the wedding and the rest of real life stuff was just moving it to the back burner, so you're all good. It was pretty obvious you have been inactive for a few games now. I was just throwing a childish fit about people with no excuse other than their W/L record just blatantly throwing in the towel with no effort.

As it stands now though, I sit in 6th place and control my own destiny from this point on so to speak.

I do wonder how Lanky's matchup with himself is going to go down in a couple of weeks

Now, for those of you who call BS, well I guess an apology could be in order. But I think some of you might want to check that since you picked up my players as I began to dismantle my team. Some of you were quick to pick up players I dropped so those complaining about the fact that I may have "sabotaged" the league might want to take a look at their roster to see if some of the players I would have kept are scoring points for them.

The only player I got from you was when you were still active. Other than that, I have a loosely assembled team of misfit free agents that are somehow pulling wins out of their ass for me

And its also shocking that you went from venomous rant about people "throwing games" to being all supportive of the one person who actually, legitimately quit. SHOCKING I tell you! I will say this - if this were my personal league, I'd boot the both of you and not ask you to return, that's for sure.

As far as the LJ situation, I will refrain from discussing it here as we were asked NOT to discuss it here. If anyone cares to hear the my side of the story, you can ask me via PM. Or you can take others' inferences at face value and judge me based on that.

I am still playing...I just missed the roster deadline last week as I was asked to help out at work after hours and couldn't make my player subs for the week. I won't be a playoff team, but I'll finish the season. I think we all need to be grown ups and calm down if we're going to do this in the future.

You play me this weekend. I have to agree with you. I likely am going down without a quarterback. Cutler and Hasselbeck both appear to be injured so I'm kind of up a creek at QB. I'm glad I'm still fighting for a playoff spot with the last overall pick, so I'll give you my best shot.

Best of luck on Thursday/Sunday, with the exception of your Cowboys and Giants players.

Wow the drama. I congratulate those who have beaten me over the last few weeks. My team was held together with Popsicle stick splints and scotch tape. Both seem to have failed. I have the most waiver moves by far and the injury bug continues to bite me week after week. I just got back from a trip and I'll be leaving for work again Dec 3rd for several months. Dunno if I will be able to do everything possible from this new boat to stay competitive, but I will try my damnedest.

I can't believe this league has gone so wrong... I'm sorry for any part I might have played. Good luck everyone and happy holidays. HTTR

Those are the breaks some times...just a frustrating part of FF! Both of your teams are very solid though, I would hope you return again next year.

I can't speak for Boone but, while very frustrated, I am chalking this year up to a learning experience and currently plan to play again next year.

I failed to secure a top QB or a top Defense this year and that has hurt me several weeks but it's on me. I also had too many of my top performers with byes on the same weeks which was something I considered during the draft and tried to organize then. However, what do you do when a guy you thought was going to be a good flex guy turns out to be your top WR?

And while I would love to bitch about injuries, a lot of guys in this league had it much worse than I have. Owners of Charles, Jackson, Schaub and Hillis all know what mean.

The thing that hurt me most though was likely the play of QB's I didn't even own. Sounds obvious in hind sight, I know but I got crushed by the poor play of Kolb in AZ reducing the value of Fitzgerald and Payton Manning's lost season making Reggie Wayne a total non factor this year.

This has been a huge lesson in just how much of a total team sport this game is. I think there might be a blog tied up in this at some future time too.
