For those of you curious about the whole of the draft here is a bit more. Washington's currently has 7 picks for the 2012 draft and they are:

#6
#39 (Rd 2)
#70 (Rd 3)
#103 (Rd 4)
#110 (Rd 4) - from Oakland
#134 (Rd 5)
#163 (Rd 6) - from Vikings
#198 (Rd 7)

The extra pick in the 4th is from the Jason Campbell trade to Oakland, have the Vikings 6th round pick in the McNabb trade and gave up their own 6th round pick to New Orleans as part of the trade for Jamaal Brown.

Does this reflect losing a pick for Hightower ?

Fear,

In reviewing things to answer your question, I think it does reflect the Hightower trade but that Walter Football has our missing 6th round pick tagged incorrectly as going to New Orleans in the Brown trade. That was a conditional 6th based on Brown playing 90% of Washington's snaps in 2010 or being selected to the Pro Bowl. In 2010 he started 14 games and played in 15 games but I seem to recall him swapping out with Heyer a lot so I am thinking that perhaps he didn't play 90% of the snaps and our 6th round pick is actually going to AZ for Hightower.

It is also possible that we are giving the 6th we got from MN for McNabb to AZ and that has been missed in this report. I will see what else I can find on this.

According to this it does.

Redskins 2012 Draft Picks

The Redskins, long known for their willingness to waste their draft picks on aging vets actually have 8 picks in the 2012 draft, a year after they had 12.
Round Original Owner of pick Comments
1 Redskins
2 Redskins
3 Redskins
4 Redskins
4 Raiders Jason Campbell trade
5 Redskins
6 Redskins The Skins traded Vonnie Holliday and a 6th round pick for Tim Hightower. Per Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic, it was actually a conditional 6th round pick that could have become a 5 based on playing time. With Hightower now on IR, it’s a 6. I’m not sure if the Skins traded this 6th round pick, or the one they acquired from the Vikings below, although it’s of little importance as both teams are going to be high in the draft order.
6 Vikings The Redskins traded Donovan McNabb for a 2012 6th round pick and a conditional 6th round pick in 2013

No reason to apologize we aren't going to agree with everybody. I am not exactly sure what you disagree with me about. Was it something in this thread?

Spammer. Progress is God? Is that Nietzsche or Kierkegaard?

No. It was Foodfast04 - one of the finest philosophical minds of our time. It was a privilege knowing him.

Alshon Jeffery timed at 4.38 and 4.47 in the 40. He might leap frog Blackmon as the #1 WR in the draft.

You think he could jump over Blackmon, Floyd, Wright and Hill just because of his 40 time?

No. I think he could leap frog them because he's an athlete at 6'4 229, and just posted a blazing 40 time for a guy that big. At least one draftnik has him as the #1 rated WR; the only question was motivation.

That can be a make-or-break question in making draft decisions though, Lanky.

Jeffrey also posted a 6.71 second time in the 3-cone drill, which would have been the 3rd best time among wide receivers at the combine. At 6'4, 229.

According to this he measured 6'3" and 213 just today, sir.

Not that those numbers are bad, of course.
