I'm at this point because of my friends. I mean that. You guys brought me through those darkest days. I owe it not only to myself, but to all of you to make the most of this second chance y'all have given me. I'll never be able to appropriately express my gratitude.

It wasn't such a good morning for me guys. I received news this morning confirming what I did not want to hear, but almost knew was the case. I have a ruptured disc in my lower back that has been wreaking havoc on me for the past 6 weeks since I injured it. I just don't know what I am going to do. This injury has affected everything in my life... physical, emotional and spiritual. Just in time for my wedding, so much for carrying my bride.

Great morning everybody. For the first time in months, I slept more than 4 hours last night. The best part is, it wasn't even medicinally induced. Having stress relief is a wonderful thing.

Amen to that. Stress does so many bad things to our bodies which causes even more stress which...feeds into a nasty circle. Congrats for escaping. Now is when life really begins.

It's amazing what stress can do to you. Anyone who thinks it isn't as much a physical condition as it is mental, must have the perfect life. It's a good thing me and my wife still love each other and have been together so long through all the good and bad, or we'd be divorced and both a nervous wreck by now. I appreciate the fact I married someone who takes the good and the bad as they come, just as I do with her. We're broke, but never fight over money. We're both overly stressed out and have been for years, but we don't take it out on each other or the kids. We still spend almost all of our free time together, etc.

It's nice to have someone that decided to stick it out instead of bailing at the first sign of distress. It'll make it that much better when we finally land on our feet and turn this ship around.
