For a while now, I have been ruminating over the idea of starting a petition drive to have November 26 declared a national holiday.

It is the birthday of a man whose inventive genius has probably saved more people from death via heart attack or homicide than any other.

Willis Haviland Carrier, the inventor of air conditioning.

Not so fast....he didn't invent it, he just perfected the ideas of those before him. They already had air conditioning before him, it just had a lot of problems.

But regardless, the man should be hailed as a hero for giving us the ac we have today.

Morning...I am back from my vacation in Belize, and it was amazing. I am refreshed, recharged, and ready to go. Feel more energetic this morning than I ever have at work.

It will be a great day. Just paid my wife's van down so we only have two payments left, will be done in August! And she has less than 90k miles on it. I will be happy to have that extra $400/mo freed up!
 
Hello everyone! I am waiting on the last CF card of images to upload to my computer so I can spend the next 8-10 hours, off and on of course, editing the images of a beautiful wedding I shot over the weekend. I think I have become a nerd because I am looking forward to editing these images!

Good morning everyone. I'm up at this early hour and you're not! :)

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Again, Happy Canada Day (yesterday) to our friends up North. Happy 4th of July to all in the states. May God continue to bless our men and women who serve in many ways - the military, homeland security, law enforcement, community volunteers, charitable efforts, paramedics, and rescue personnel. Your dedication and work is appreciated - thank you.

We just moved to the mountains and don't have AC. Was told we don't need it. Were lied to.

Buying two window units today and installing them. It's a start, anyway. I will be in a much better mood tonight, methinks.
