boone.....I'll say this one last time. he won the game and that's what counts. but you can see the flaws...they are there every game. you are free to ignore them and accept what we have. I will enjoy the ride...but ultimately want better. we will have to have better to get to the next level.

LOL...how do you know that Rex won't get better as the season goes on? He did display some of his old flaws on the fumble and forced throws, however the frequency of those kinds of plays was greatly reduced compared to Rex circa '06 - '07. It's only the first game, and he was up against a defense that makes its money harrassing QBs. He made some great throws under heavy pressure and won the game.

Rex was probably referring to the multiple emails Al has sent him about how he's no good lol.

Rex did have a few bad plays, but it's important to note how he was getting hit hard regularly throughout the game and kept getting up and standing tough in the pocket. To complain about about high throws and throwing off the back foot after that performance under that kind of pressure is comedic.

I don't...just like you don't know whether a game against a team riddled with injuries, missing many of its star defensive players, a revamped offensive line....is indicative of how RG will end up at the end of the year against the Jets, Pats, Iggles, etc.

Every player has weaknesses. Rex can win games when he makes good decisions. I'm not claiming he's Tom brady, but he's a hell of a lot better than you give him credit for. Rex battled his ass off out there today, and all you can do is post a laundry list of his flaws...and you want to talk about my integrity.

Would it surprise anyone if Trent becomes a very good RT for many years? He seems lost at LT and Brown would prefer the left side anyway. In a year or two, Coach can find a good LT for the ZBS in the draft or FA.

no....you seem to forget the Gints dropped some critical passes early on that could have made things very different.....and he did not connect on any long passes. eventually.....that's gonna end up shrinking the field......

jesus...why is this so hard to communicate? it's not about bad plays...it's about limited athletic skills and flaws in his game. that you don't have the integrity to recognize what is in front of you is your limitation...not mine.

but thanks for proving one of my points......his limited mobility exacerbates things when he's under pressure.

It's about the end result and that is all. The flaws in his game have no relevance. That's for coaches to consider and correct and work around. Today he got results and played a heck of a game.
