Van Jefferson has the goods to be on an NFL roster. He outplayed some on our roster but they went with chance on the potential upside of a few other WR's.

There is still 24 minutes left to go, but it appears as though Luke made it.

As I said in the trade bait thread, I think Van Jefferson or Luke, whichever got released, would be on a 53 man roster this season.

Wow. Henry suffered a fall. I predicted practice squad and I still hope he lands there, but after Miami some here wanted him to be the number one running back.

I don’t know about that, saying he has the best vision isn’t the same as saying he should be the #1, was anyone really saying that?

I don't really understand what McCaffery does for us... I guess they really think his contributions on ST are important. I just haven't seen anything to convince me that he's not a JAG. I'd love to be wrong, but I don't think I am...

He was coming in last year before his injury. And by reports has looked good in camp.

We're finally on the same page. I had that thought, too.

Too many spots were pre-locked in. It's another reason I hate not playing starters in preseason. We need to give a chance for the cream to rise or show if a starter has gotten stale. Maybe you can do that at practice, but since there is no live tackling at practice and practices don't operate at game speed, I think it's too easy for the vet to coast to their position.

Did Amos have a college injury history?

This comment definitely applies to Newton (although I think his bigger problem is that he’s undersized and doesn’t have any special traits)

As far as I can tell, he missed 2 games in college due to injury, both as a sophomore (hamstring).

Yeah, the CB room looks really thin right now. There has to be a pending waiver move tomorrow. Can’t go into the first 4 weeks with 3 CBs on the roster.
