Cut Down Day - Sunday - Aug 30 - 6:00 PM - Announcements

So, as we hit a pause for a second, I'm trying to use AI to compile the comprehensive list and just scrape twitter. Google AI (just through the browser) sucks. Jean Claude gets the answer correct, but it tries to be so had to be perfect, it takes forever.

It's possible the machines are going to take over eventually and humans will be replaced like in Terminator. However, since it can't aggregate twitter feeds easily, I think that time is a far way off...
It's a lot closer than people realize.

If one can afford it, they'll never do laundry or wash dishes again 6 months from now.

They've yet to begin learning at a geometric rate.

I thought Cowhart had a good preseason. Remember hearing his name a bunch
Me too. Was a good battle between him, Tuttle, Hurst, Barber and M’ba. Liked in an interview he said he was just trying to get all of his details right every single snap. Always thought Barber might have the edge because of his age.

This one hurts a little because Scott had been fairly reliable in the past. He did not have a great preseason. Either did Wylie who was another vet OL we had been able to count on in the past.

Commanders released Trent Scott.

Scott has been with the Commanders for each of the past three seasons, appearing in 35 games with six starts, not including the postseason. He even caught Jayden Daniels’ first touchdown pass in 2024. Scott is a candidate to land on Washington’s practice squad.

He was also pretty old. So not surprised by the decline. He's mid-30's right?

Look at AP playing 4D chess. Or something. "You say we don't have OL depth? HA, watch this!" *cuts JGJ, Scott*

Feels like we are slow walking the cuts.

Hoping there’s something in play.

Van Jefferson, Tuttle and Henry Jr. released.
Wow. Henry suffered a fall. I predicted practice squad and I still hope he lands there, but after Miami some here wanted him to be the number one running back.

Van Jefferson has the goods to be on an NFL roster. He outplayed some on our roster but they went with chance on the potential upside of a few other WR's.

Are we at 53 yet?

Did Bradley make it?
