We went to the London game against Cincy in 2016. We spent 5 nights in Dublin & 4 nights in London. The game at Wembley was the lowlight of the entire trip. It was a boring game that ended in a tie. Friggin' Hopkins missed a goddamn chip-shot and, after time ran out, everybody was kind of "meh" or "what the actual fuck was that?" It was very disappointing but kind of interesting to see the game from the European perspective. When a time out, FG or penalty was called, they would put up a brief explanation describing what they were ("a FG is an attempt to score by kicking the ball between the uprights for 3-pts" . We were also surprised at how many Brits were into the NFL and have never attended a game with so many different teams jersey's and the crowd was very enthusiastic. I can understand why the NFL wants more of them.
I’m planning a trip to Dublin this summer/fall because I can due to my current circumstances since Ireland is an EU member. The UK is out because they are not. 🤪
