2026 NFL Draft Order

If Arizona wins we are up to 6. Raiders need to win but I am not holding my breath

Kyler has sucked for three years at this point before getting hurt, Gannon basically entered the year on a warm seat, who in the world thought they’d win their division over the 49ers and Rams, consistently popular NFC SB picks? Not even taking the Seahawks into account. I’d be shocked if you could find a single prediction that had the Cardinals as winning the NFCW this year.

It really is amazing the Giants and Raiders have lost 9 in a row. That is difficult for one team to do.

At this point I feel like we can't afford a win, play respectful, get the youth more involved, but don't push the team don in the draft
 
Go Raiders, lose how you know how to do so the Giants don't get the #1 pick.

3. Tiebreaker Rules​

When teams finish with identical records, the NFL uses a specific hierarchy of tiebreakers to determine the order:

  1. Strength of Schedule (SOS): This is the primary tiebreaker. The team with the lower opponent winning percentage (the "easier" schedule) is awarded the higher pick, as they are considered the weaker team.
  2. Division/Conference Tiebreakers: If SOS is tied, the league applies standard playoff tiebreakers (head-to-head, division record, conference record).
  3. Coin Toss: If all other tiebreakers are equal, the order is decided by a coin flip at the NFL Scouting Combine.

4. Round-by-Round Rotation​

The NFL uses a cycling system for subsequent rounds. If multiple teams are tied and their order was determined by a tiebreaker or coin toss, they rotate positions in each round.

  • Example: If Team A and Team B are tied and Team A picks first in Round 1, Team B will pick first among that pair in Round 2. They will continue to swap back and forth through all seven rounds.

5. Additional Pick Types​

  • Compensatory Picks: The NFL awards extra picks (at the end of rounds 3–7) to teams that lost significant free agents the previous year.
  • Trades: Draft order is often heavily altered by trades. Teams frequently swap current or future picks for players or higher draft positioning.

After the Bengals and Saints wins today we are guaranteed a top 7 pick. Even if we win next week we will pick no later than 7.
