2026 NFL Draft Order

I do realize that this thread draws very little attention, but…

What do you think the Commanders record would be right now with a healthy QB playing every game with this schedule?

Las Vegas, @ Miami, Pittsburgh, Carolina, @ Buffalo, @ New Orleans, @ Tennessee, Cleveland, Atlanta, @ Tampa Bay, New York Jets,
@ Cincinnati, New York Giants

All I know is at this point I don't want Washington to win any more games.

Allowing the Giants or others to pass us in the draft order is just pushing us down to lower rated prospects.

I disagree with the Doc Walker types that say winning ONE game and going 1-16 is worth it.

I think you take a bad year where EVERYONE got hurt and some players were exposed for what they are - and then take ADVANTAGE in the draft.

Washington can pull a Roseman and take a top 5-7 pick and trade down and pick up #2 and #3 and still have a first rounder, and that would essentially recoup the picks we lost on the over the hill Marshon Lattimore.

It's a good thing all of his guaranteed money is paid already because Lattimore with an ACL at 30 is done.

I think as the season comes to a close and the draft talk heats up this thread will get a lot more attention. I know I'll be checking in to see who we want to win/lose. As the season winds down it's obviously not just the teams around us. SOS is a factor then and random games involving random teams will have real meaning for us and it's helpful to know who we should root for in the Cincy/Atlanta game or whatever.

Guessing this is the patriots cake schedule? I’d say with a healthy QB on that schedule we could be looking at 9-4 or 10-3 at best and at worst we’d probably be 8-5 or 7-6. Our D was pretty atrocious and we had some other big injuries not just at QB. For instance, we saw the difference it makes when terry is playing.

That being said, we’d very likely still be riding with Whitt as DC and I’ll be honest, I think it’s better we took a bit of a hit this season to hopefully find a better DC.
