Not a Winston fan, but I take Winston over Mariota.
They both turn the ball over, but Winston gets more yards.

McLaurin finally catches a ball, on the sideline next play in the red zone. I’m sure they’re being smart with his snaps after his injury, just annoying. He’s just lost me, don’t even care about him anymore

Sure wish we did not have the injuries, but blessing in a way. We know who is depth for next year. Clearly with the right defensive coordinator we are a playoff team. Picking up some good draft capital too.

I remember saying in this forum that CRod was the hot hand a couple of weeks ago - he was getting 5ypc and they were rotating him out at key times, NO respect for the hot hand which is a REAL thing that Kliff didn't understand.

Some of the responses were about CRod's draft position, how CRod wasn't that great... people need to remember that these guys, even practice squad guys... a lot of them can play. Are they the best at their position? Sure, we can agree they are not. Let's respect that they are still high performers for their positions, and among the best in the world. Doesn't mean they beat Surtain (as WR), but with a good gameplan, they can do damage.
 
Completions are being made but it feels like in general guys are much closer in coverage than under Whitt, the zone we’re running almost 90% of the time is an improvement. Guys need to keep their heads on a swivel and break up these passes in traffic
 
Bobby Wagner could gain a step or two if he ditched those 1950s style high top cleats.

I agree we are a playoff team.

I do not know if we are a Super Bowl team unless Kliff learns something new with his playcalling. Today has been better though, including in drives that ended with no points.

If it happens from time to time it's ok. This season, we are all about the opposite of complementary football:
- d makes stop/rare TO, o 3 and out.
- o makes a mistake, d lets em in endzone
- O scores TD, D lets up TD.

I will say, we had a couple of redzone stops at least. It did stink to let up the TD after a TD but overall I give it a pass. They have to make more stops going forward of course for that "pass" to make sense.
