Keim who is very soft in his criticisms and rarely makes them so when he does I take them seriously, even if they are mild.

He mentioned that while watching practice-camp, a bunch of players pre-post practice or with downtime during practice work on things. Brian was one of the dudes who did not.

Grant Paulsen mentioned just a little while ago he heard the same criticisms that Chris Russell did about how this staff felt about Brian.

It struck me this off season for example when Lattimore was asked about last season, he owned up that he could have played better. You hear all the time from different players about things they are working on and can improve, etc. Even players who played great like Jayden and Ertz, etc.

Heck Croskey-Merritt mentioned last night, he had a good game but needs to improve.

With Brian, when presented with a question this off season about changing his game-improving it. He basically flat out said nothing needed to be improved. It was just he needed to stay healthy, that's it.

lol, I didn't pay attention to Brian on the sidelines in preseason game 1, but the Junkies said he was the dude who was dressed up and came off like he was walking on the sidelines like he's a celebrity.

Same dude, who strangely gave the Eagles bullentin board material before their matchup saying the Commanders are the better team -- and then in turned fumbled twice against them.'

Same dude who told a Lions player on twitter, its not their time in 2025-2026 to win a SB but its our time.

I am not saying Brian is a bad dude. I've heard he's a good dude. But he doesn't scream having the intangibles to be great, seems a bit delusional about himself and the team-- and I am guessing aside from his play, he's not the best fit with the culture they are trying to build.

Quinn hinted that Brian didn't take it well as to the conversation about moving him. I am gathering based on everything else relating to Brian he was shocked because I gather he thinks very highly of his game.

Yeah I like this move, I sure hope this is the end for Trent Scott, dude's been stealing checks. Paul on the other hand I always felt was underappreciated, glad he is looking like he's going to stick.

I do not see a trading partner for BRob but I do like the $3M cap savings that can be rolled into next season. Tunsil is up and his negotiations will get ugly.

It doesn't have to get ugly, he'll get top dollar, and we are probably OK with that. Those deals are usually easier IMO, or at least they should be.

I don't think negotiations are going to get ugly. I think he's going to say "make me the highest paid LT again." And if he has a great year this year, Peters will say "ok."

The only thing which would cause negotiations to get ugly is if he has a very down year and demands top of the market money.

I'm concerned this means Tunsil might be out longer than hoped.

I might be reading too much into it, but signing an OT at this point feels ... not coincidental.

I’ve been under the impression that holding him out was precautionary, didn’t Tunsil end up taking part in the Burgundy vs. Gold intra-squad “scrimmage” last week after his initial injury?

All we need are two teams interested, more is just gravy. Two prevents any single team from feeling like they can just pick him up off waivers if they’re high in the pecking order (I think there are waivers this time of year for players with less than four years of service, based on last year’s draft order), and two means they have to compete a little which might actually net us more than a 7th rounder

If true that’s great news. And I think part of the issue with Robinson is personality fit along with scheme fit…so it’s not crazy to think another team would see him as someone who could help them more than us. And that’s what we need teams to think

If two teams who want him can be convinced that he just doesn’t get along with Kliff’s system or personality, we could even potentially pull up to a late 5th from a contender

I cannot believe Birdbox Robinson is generating interest. I believe the reporting, just very surprised. Still don’t expect much return.

This screams like somebody from the Commander's PR department slipped Garafolo a $10 spot under the table and said "say something to help us drum up interest."

Anybody who watches film would know why Robinson fell out of favor, and anybody who looks at any analytics would have it doubly confirmed.

Might say more about were Cosmi really is - and maybe Coleman -and how they feel about depth at guard. Wylie is the swing tackle and he might have to start at guard (or be the primary backup) meaning we needed a swing tackle.

If we can’t trade him we will release him. Which makes it hard to understand why anyone would be willing to pick up his contract paying him $3M and change when he will available off the street for something closer to vet minimum pretty soon.

Only trade I can see happening is a trade for a player (Edge, DT or maybe LB) that another team has on the bubble and we do essentially a trade of contracts.
