Wylie is a guy with real trade value given the tackle market has dried up sans Cam Robinson and his cap hit for next year is low. If we were to trade him, a team would only have to pay $8M for him, which is a steal for a starting RT.
Mark Bullock makes a strong case for putting Coleman at LT in pointing out that Tunsil and Biadasz are both high IQ players can help Coleman out a lot at LG by calling out protections and blitzes, giving him a higher chance to succeed than playing RT.
What I would do is let Wylie start at RT next year but draft a developmental tackle in the 3rd (if we land one) or the 4th and groom that guy to possibly take over in 2026
He’s going to have a market I would think and will likely cost more than we will want to pay for a #3 when we have two WRs already getting big money.

The Bengals always have had one of the worst FOs. They'll end up gettting nothing for him and he might even hold out.
Left Guard I assume you mean for Coleman. I’d wait until after the draft to really start these projections.

I'm thinking if we traded down, picking up a tackle in the first or second. We would have a great o line set for years. Wylie, ironically enough, has become a good value now.

The Myles Garrett deal also had a hand in it. That LTD got a lot more expensive.

Especially when you are dropping a 1st rounder on the deal as well. I might be willing to do our 2nd rounder. But then you are paying him 35 mill per year on top of it. That is rich.

Yep, the Bengals lucked out when Washington beat Miami 17-16 in 2019 season so they could maintain the #1 pick and take Joe Burrow in the draft.
Our philosophy of attempting to win games at 1-9 or 1-10 was just assinine.
All respect to Doc Walker, but winning ONE football game in a losing and lost season doesn't mean much and can actually be costly long-term.

If I am the GM of a team I am not paying a 31 year old defensive lineman $35M and giving up #1 pick plus unless that player is truly generational - ie, Reggie White, Aaron Donald, or even Chris Jones.
Hendrickson is a good pass rusher but he's not good against the run. In watching him in several games last year he recorded a couple of sacks but he was not a 60 down dominant player they way these others were.

Goldman is a good pickup. Again, I don't see the need to spend a #1 pick on a defensive lineman to stop the run when guys like this are available in free agency.
The DL to grab in the draft are those rare two-way players that can stuff the run but also put up double digit sacks, especially from an interior position.
With all due respect to Sheldon Ray and Jalen Holmes, these guys were overmatched by the Eagles OL in terms of size and strength.
We finally picked up two big boys that can stand things up.

Even though he’s in his third NFL season, Goldman is only 23, yet responds to a question about his numbers like a veteran.
“It’s a long season, man. You just can’t worry about stuff like that,” he said. “We’re sixth in the league [in total defense] and that’s the main thing. Because if you’re sixth in the league, that says that we’re doing our job good. We can do it a little bit better by getting more turnovers and stuff like that.”
Rodgers details what Goldman does in a given game, and how he gives opposing centers and guards fits to help the defensive front.
“He’s big. He has an anchor. He has strong hands. He demands double teams. He can eat up blocks. He can knock people back. He can pass rush,” he said. “You don’t usually see a big man like him be able to play the run like he’s capable of and be able to pass rush. Very few guys in the league can. He’s starting to come into his own.”
