Hendrickson is a good pass rusher but he's not good against the run. In watching him in several games last year he recorded a couple of sacks but he was not a 60 down dominant player they way these others were.

For us it did at least eventually turn out great, as Snyder never would have sold if we had Burrow artificially making us competitive (or Burrow would have been even more injury-riddled and a total bust with us). We needed another 5 years of pain after that to eventually shake that rich loser
 
Goldman, 30, served as Chicago’s nose tackle from 2015-2021, opting out of the 2020 season owing to COVID-19. Over that span, he had a handful of very good seasons where he was a bear (pun intended) against the run and a useful pass rusher, piling up 13 sacks over that span and 111 run stops per Pro Football Focus. The Falcons will be mighty happy if he can capture some of his pre-2021 form—he had a down season that year and then obviously has not played the past two seasons—and provide a useful optional at nose tackle, either as a starter or a part of the team’s rotation at the position.

The DL to grab in the draft are those rare two-way players that can stuff the run but also put up double digit sacks, especially from an interior position.

With all due respect to Sheldon Ray and Jalen Holmes, these guys were overmatched by the Eagles OL in terms of size and strength.

Those are hard to find as we know. NTs that are in the draft that can clog the middle, stop the run and bring pressure that can be had on day 3 of the draft (not in particular order) are CJ West, JJ Pegues, Cam Jackson, Deone Walker. We've talked with West and Walker.

You want to go big time on the best of the bunch then there is Tyleik Williams and Alfred Collins. We might not be able to land Willams as he goes, I think in the 1st before we pick. I truly believe that AP trades down in the 1st as I've mentioned and possibly trades our 2nd round pick for more too.

Who knows what to expect from a DT that has already retired himself twice. Maybe he retires again in November.
