Liquor, Beer, Wine & Cocktails.....What do you like & what are you drinking?

After this amazing win, which was almost a total domination, I decided that since we haven been here since 1991, I would open my vintage 1991 bottle of whiskey in celebration.

It's good whiskey too but probably not even close to being worth what I paid for it lol.

My pour is nowhere near that rarity, but selected by my wife because it's closest to our colors lol

Congrats again, all. So happy to be enjoying this!

Hey, at least you are enjoying the win with over 100 proof whiskey. That is how we do it, lol.

I have a bottle of 15 year old Balblair scotch, distilled in 1991 bottled in 2016. I decided when I bought it, the next time we win the Super Bowl I will open it for obvious reasons.

Skinsfan1311 I hope you're healing up well from surgery and all's well. Wife went under the knife two weeks ago and is still on the mend.

That beer looks so interesting. I'm looking for a way to get it out here in Idaho. Would love to try it. For today I'm anxious and staring off with some bourbon cream in my coffee before moving to beer for the game.

Cheers!

Thanks! Not 100% yet....but getting there! I don't ordinarily drink before, or during, away games.

Happy Friday Eve!

Sagamore is such an underrated bottle. What are the sweetener and bitters you used? Side note, I'm super jealous of the large rock, I can't get them to come out personally.

Agreed.
Traditional....simple syrup, (just a bar spoonful),Angostora and a Luxardo cherry.

I might have already shared this, but I make one that is high proof rye (old Ezra 7), cinnamon simple (homemade) and fee's black walnut bitters. So delicious. Wife named it "Wayne's Old Fashioned"

As for those drinks, I'm taking that shot and gonna try to make some of them. Looks amazing!

This used to be one of the better values in bourbon, back when it could be had for $30.00...

I bought a bottle of eagle rare about a month ago for 65.99 and today I went to a different store and they have it for 37.99 oops!

It's not really my favorite though so I didn't get another one. They even have OGD114 for 28 bucks. I saw that for 50 at the store I used to go to. I guess I found a new place because just about everything is cheaper there. I ended up buying 8 bottles of different kinds of whiskey lol.

I never tried Bowman's before and it was 33 for the Small batch so I got 1, also 90 for Blanton's, which I've never tried but I will soon.

Here's most of those from today

Oops, not the EC though, guess it got in there when I was rearranging my cabinet

Bowman’s Port Barrell finish is excellent. One of my favorite Bourbons.

SkinsFTW that's a nice haul! I really like the 1792 full proof, but the compass box makes me want to go hunt one down. But I'm on liquor buying timeout.

I didn't try the 1792 yet but I have one of their cheaper ones and it's pretty good. That Compass Box was really good though. It's like a highland scotch with a more fruit taste to it but I really like it.

That Heavens door one I'm not too sure about but I'll have to try it again. First taste was ok, nothing special though.

I read that the compass box spice tree is discontinued so I'll have to try to hunt that one down soon.
