She's gotten into it because of me, but she's the connesuieur and she's great at helping me taste and understand things I wouldn't otherwise. I either love, like or don't like (but still drink) something. Plus if she buys it for me, I don't get told to stop lol.

She said it's from the new one in Virginia and told me all about Prav. Sounds like an interesting character.

Glad you like it! It really is one of the best bottles I’ve tasted in quite a few years. You already but a good dent in that thing. Lol

I have bought more bottles than I can try since Christmas so I broke a few open tonight and will try a few more if we win tomorrow.

These are all very flavorful but I definitely prefer the Penelope then the Blue Note. I'm still deciding what I think about that Texas Whiskey. I was already kinda buzzed and just ate when I tried it.

The blue note is very good though. I just really liked the Penelope for some reason. It has a totally different taste than most whiskey I've had but I am not a long time drinker or anything lol.

That Balcones Texas Whiskey is just not really whiskey. It's like calling Southern Comfort whiskey. It's just crazy sweet and spicy like it's trying to cover up something.

This is probably the first bottle of "Whiskey" that I will regret purchasing but I always drink whiskey straight up out of the bottle. It might be ok in coke, just like Southern Comfort is.

I have to be careful when I'm buying beers I haven't had before. Couple times I've had 3 or 4 'Imperial' beers not realizing they were very strong. Pretty easy to get yourself in trouble. But 24 proof - I'm not sure it's a beer at that point, lol!
