Random Commanders Thoughts

I was sitting here thinking...

The last time we were in the Playoffs, we had The Legend of Taylor Heinicke pylon dive. It just so happens that The WFT played TB pretty tough and maybe could have also beat the Saints in the next round if they had gotten passed the Bucs.

If they had caught lightening and had one or more playoff wins that year would Dan have sold the team? Would we still be doing the RR experiment? Would the Pats be building another dynasty with Jayden at the helm right now as we sat here and talked about yet another off season picking somewhere in the middle of the draft yet again...

I shudder just thinking about it.
This is exactly why I stopped thinking.

Is it just me, or do we roll out Marcus more than Jayden. Seems Jayden is under center or shotgun, but doesn't roll often, and the second you put in Marcus we see roll outs.
I think that was part of the 2nd half adjustments. For me personally, I’m not overthinking the move to Mariota and what they did in the 2nd half vs the 1st half. That includes receivers who caught nothing in half 1 and everything regardless of difficulty in half 2. These coaches have adjusted and the team’s second half offensive performance the last month has been masterful. If Daniels had played in the 2nd half, I would have expected a lot of the same plays and results.

Big Heinicke guy?

In an alternate universe somewhere, Dan Snyder traded three number one draft picks to Chicago for the right to move up from number two to the first pick in the draft in order to select the local QB hero Caleb Williams.

Chief Zee takes out Major Tuddy and has the band play Hail To The Redskins and the cheerleaders are brought back for this game to finally erase the curses of Suzan Harjo and Dan Snyder.

Where did the home/away games for next season go?

I will definitely be going to LA next year, since my daughter lives there, and I can’t wait to see SoFi.

Went last year for the Rams game, and Saturday night I got sick, 103 degree fever Sunday morning, so had to lay out in the hotel room completely miserable the entire day.

I believe we are rumored to be 'up' for an overseas game. I heard the most likely spots would be Berlin or Madrid. I am hoping if we do get scheduled for one that it's in Berlin since my daughter is there and Om is as well. That would be an epic road trip.

Since the NFL implemented the overeseas games, have teams involved in those games reached or won a Super Bowl? Just wondering with all the travel time, time change complications that occur.

The worst play of the year was the missed extra point after the long pass to Terry against Dallas. If he made that kick and we won the game that play would be remembered forever. Now months later it's all but forgotten.
I wonder if we make that kick if we win the division?

The problem is, you change any one play in a game, you probably alter everything that follows in ways it's impossible to predict. Who knows what happens? If Oz catches that dropped TD pass in the finale, do we end up winning the game? How can we know for sure?

All true. But if they make that kick they have a 50/50 chance of winning the game in overtime. Probably higher as they would have had the momentum and after all were a better team.

Not sure if this is legitimate, but I saw something about Miami being chosen as the "home" team for the Madrid game, so that would definitely be in play if true. Couldn't find anything for Berlin. UK games can be ruled out, which is a shame for me as Tottenham is super convenient.

I would definitely aim to get to a game in either Berlin or Madrid. Berlin would be interesting as I've been to Madrid before.

If it falls within the ‘right’ part of my personal calendar I would like to attend in Berlin, as well. The only other away game I would have interest in is Green Bay.
