We’re seeing something different tonight.

The Anchorage Symphony is putting on a show called Double Magic. It’s a silent film double feature that the Symphony will play the music to. They will be showing Buster Keaton’s short film, Haunted House. Then they are doing the 1925 version of Phantom of the Opera.

I know it is not morning, but I wanted to wish you all well as I prepare to ship out. Got an early bell in the morning and won't have the chance to say Good Morning then, gotta be at the airport at 4:15am at the latest. I won't get back until Monday so, have a great weekend and I will see you all here for the Redskins game.

Off to Punta Cana! I am photographing the wedding of a childhood friend! Carribean life here I come!

Mike, I'm just grateful we live in the 21st century so we can actually become friends from a distance. I imagine my life is much like your's my friend. I love Redskins' football, I love my dog, I used to enjoy a good beer, I enjoy doing stuff outdoors, I am stubborn as hell...sound familiar? Haha!

Mark your calendar my friend, 11/11/11 is the day my fiancè and I have set to take the plunge!

We met a lovely couple at the airport today and told them the same thing, at least I won't forget the anniversary. :movefast:

As far as the trip, when we approached the counter at the Atlanta airport to board my connection about 90 minutes before the flight I was told we were bumped. So instead of approaching Punta Cana right now, we are sitting in a hotel in Atlanta. :cuss:

Well, at least we are $600 richer! :rolleyes2:
 
Well guys, the Dominican was a great time. After the bungled flight by Delta, they compensated us with cash and also gave us a tour of the Southern Coast of the D.R. by means of a bus ride from Santo Domingo, 3 1/2 hours, to Punta Cana. I enjoyed that trip. Got to see much of the country I would never have seen outside of the resort.

Preparing for the Redskins game tonight. Heading down to pick up my tickets in an hour and off to the Stadium to hang out with the ES crowd for a little while and then another Tailgate with some friends.

Great week with a great woman! Grateful for a good life! It will be nice if I can leave the Stadium with a Redskins' victory! Is that asking for too much? :)

We have an inversion layer today, meaning there is warm air at the higher altitudes and colder air below it. So its about 20 degrees at my house and its raining. Naturally when that rain lands it turns to ice. The main highway through town is closed because of a wreck between a car and a sanding truck.

Normally I mostly work from home, but today I foolishly scheduled a system upgrade with one of my clients so I have to drive into town, avoiding guys in 4-wheel drive pickups who think the laws of physics do not apply to them.

Wish me luck.

Had one of the best Christmases in my life! Looking forward to a night of fun with friends.

Happy New Year! If you are one who makes resolutions this time of year, I hope you have the resolve to stick with it! If you are like me and don't, well then just have a great year!

Oh, I am going to meet one of the Hogettes who is giving me a pair of tickets to Sunday's game, free! Does that make me special? :)
