Yeah I found this place on reddit as well. We could not have asked for a warmer welcome from the folks here, so thank you for that guys. I mean there may be a lot of us, hopefully, who come over. I've been in these situations in the past and the take over has not always been well received by the original members and I can certainly understand that.

Still getting familiar with this place. As I looked over the thread I see most of the posters are out of town. Finland? Virgin Islands? Interesting. Most Washington football boards are populated by, well, people who live in or near DC.

By the way I've traveled a ton and St John, USVI is my favorite place I have ever visited. But I've never been to Finland.

I'm Koolblue13. I joined ES a long time ago when I worked in a junkyard outside of Philly.

STJ is really nice to visit, but STX is the island to live on.

I live in Finland now for half of the year, Florida the other half, so I’m now a snowbird I guess. I was raised in the DMV and lived there until I was 25.

There hasn't been a lot of trolling on this board in recent months and I think the transition is going pretty smoothly which makes that one overly negative, name calling poster standout. Yessi mehson. We didn't really do any tourism until Covid, then people started to show up and snatch our cheap housing for airbnbs. It's a pretty great place to live. Smaller the pop than STT, but like 10x the size. Lots of farms and open spaces and empty beaches. Super chill.

Yeah I'm kind of sorry I missed that, I assume the posts and poster have been removed. Was it an ES migrant? If that's the case we all apologize.

This feels more like the OG Extremeskins than the board we were given after the team bought it. I love seeing the old names of the guys that were really the OG's (Tarhog, Om, Henry). All I need now is to see a post from Art or Diehard and it will really fell like I entered a time machine.

Bring back the daily babe thread and get Kdawg to do his next day thread and Extremeskins will only be gone in name.

I had been registered there for a long time but only became a regular a decade or so ago. So I don't have all this history but I enjoy reading about it.

I echo this. I appreciate the warm welcome from the BGO staff. And also think it's pretty cool to see some of the old school ES posters here. Glad to have a place to talk Skins again.

My grandmother lived on st John for 20 years.
I spent a whole summer there when I was a kid.

When I was 13 my brother and I spent a summer with our dad who was living in Malaysia. There was no milk in Malaysia in 1972, not sure about today, and no milk for a 13 year old was rough.
